The Getty is a wonderful museum.

This piece always reminded me of "Hades Abducting Persephone" combined with "Cupid and Psyche."

Very true! "Hades Abducting Persephone" is one of my personal favorites.

It's a beautiful piece. The way Persephone is both pulling away and clinging to Hades...it's such an amazing statement of her conflicted feelings.

I agree. I think it's a good interpretation a woman's unconscious. It's sad so many people shy away from the subject.
